Charles Robinson-Snead is a Delaware native, born and raised in Laurel. He was primarily raised by his mother and he has one sister and three brothers. Upon graduating from Laurel High School in 2010, Charles immediately enrolled into Delaware State University where he earned his B.S. Psychology in 2014. While in undergraduate school, he served in numerous student leadership positions and conducted research as a Ronald E. McNair Scholar. He chose to go into the workforce thereafter, working as a mentor for at-promise youth in New Castle County, DE, a Community Living Specialist for a group home agency, and an Admissions Counselor at a trade school. While doing so, he decided to enroll in a graduate program where he earned his M.A. Clinical Counseling from Eastern University in 2018. While matriculating through graduate school, Charles worked full time as an Admissions Counselor at his Alma Mater (Delaware State University), earned practicum hours at Pennsylvania Forensic Associates as a Group Facilitator (Media, PA), and interned at Mental Edge Counseling as an Outpatient Therapist and Group Facilitator (Dover, DE). In 2020,
Charles earned his credentials as a Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health in the state of Delaware and in 2021 earned his credentials as a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Clinical Psychology at Howard University.
